Project Assistant

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Project Assistant will support BPC’s Corporate Governance and Finance project by providing primary support through:
• Calendar management and scheduling responsibilities
• Attending project meetings as requested by Project Management; preparing pre-meeting and post meetings notes and memorandum
• Providing point of contact support for project staff and steering committee members, such as processing reimbursement requests, booking air and hotel accommodations, and maintaining relationships with members and their assistants.
• Planning for project related meetings; booking conference rooms; ordering catering; preparing materials, etc.
• Working with the events team to plan internal and external events
• Assisting with the ordering, production, construction and shipment of correspondence and materials
• Data entry and contact management
• Fielding phone calls and other clerical tasks
• Providing research assistance to the team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous scheduling experience and the ability to communicate effectively is essential
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Works well independently, and as part of a team
